Information for Prospective Students

Students who are enrolled in any of the four Lubbock Independent School District are eligible to attend classes at the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center.

The Career Counselors at Coronado High School, Estacado High School, Lubbock High School and Monterey High School can help students who are interested in taking an ATC class. They are able to guide students to enroll in a class that suits their skills and their needs.

Students who are interesting in attending classes at the ATC should contact their school Career Counselor. Students can even watch a video which highlights various aspects of each of the courses offered at the Byron Martin Center.

School buses are available at each high school to bring students to the ATC for the appropriate class period. Students also have the option to drive themselves or have parents drive them to the ATC for the classes. Travel time is allotted to give students ample time to arrive for their classes. Students should check with the Career Counselor at each high school to obtain the bus schedule.
