Out-of-District Transfers: Lubbock I.S.D. accepts tuition-free transfer students from neighboring school districts.  Students must meet eligibility requirements set by the Texas Education Agency and Lubbock I.S.D.  For information, call 766-1107 or 766-1404.

Home Schoolers: Lubbock Independent School District accepts home schoolers on a part-time basis providing the student receives instruction for two hours. For information, call 766-1107 or 766-1404.

Secondary Supplies - Each student will need a notebook, pen, and pencil on the first day of school. Additional information on what supplies secondary students will need will be provided by individual schools and teachers prior to the start of school or on the first day of classes.

To Parents and Merchants:
All textbooks are furnished free to Lubbock Independent School District students.  The McDougal, Littell Handwriting Program is used at the elementary level and handwriting paper should be consistent with those guidelines.  The following supplies are expected to be furnished by pupils.  Not all pupils in the same grade use the same supplies at the same time;  therefore, the teacher’s instructions should prevail.  PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR CAMPUS REGARDING SPECIFIC SCHOOL SUPPLY NEEDS.

Kindergarten

Third Grade
