Welcome to Bayless Elementary celebrating our 50th year of the establishment in 2006 with the new district reconfiguration in place. Our campus now serves a diversified K-5 student population that practices "Character Counts" everyday. We are an Academic Acceptable school that strives daily to meet higher academic goals and challenge every student. We have a highly qualified staff committed to the education and success of every child. Our staff works diligently as a team for the safety and well-being of all our children.

    With No Child Left Behind, our staff knows the importance of student learning and achievement. We will remain focused on the delivery of effective instruction with diligence and consistency to optimize student learning.  We are a proud Voyager school that aligns all requirements of Reading First through a comprehensive K-3 reading curriculum. We have high tech computer labs and portable computer units to offer all our students. Our ongoing mission at Bayless is to provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills needed for the future.

    In addition, please realize that parental involvement is a key component  to the success of student learning. We ask that your child be in school by 7:45 am daily. Assist us with your child's learning in the areas that require specific and special attention at home. Review the Student Code of Conduct, ensure your child completes his/her homework on a daily basis, and encourage and model reading everyday. We welcome you to schedule conferences as needed to establish good communication between home and school. We also ask for your child's safety, that you drive carefully in the school zone area and park legally at all time. We are very protective of your children and want them to feel safe and secure at all times.
