Foundation Offers Memorial and Honorarium Program
The Foundation for Excellence (FFE), LISD’s public education foundation, has begun a program that will allow individuals to make contributions to the FFE in honor of or in memory of loved ones and friends. The Honorariums/Memorials will be listed in The Reporter, LISD’s weekly employee newsletter. Notice of the contribution will be sent to the recipient.
The Honorarium program is designed to thank individuals for a “job well done” and to recognize them for their outstanding efforts. Donors can make contributions to the FFE in honor of principals, teachers, administrators, and friends.
The Memorial program has been set up to commemorate a loved one or friend.
Last year, the FFE gave grants totaling $55,826 to LISD teachers and students for performance, leadership, and academic activities.
