The Knight Readers program is associated with Texas Tech Basketball Coach Bob Knight and Senior Associate Athletic Director Steve Downing.  The program was initiated in 2004.  It is designed to foster the same enjoyment from reading that Coach Knight experienced from reading books as a boy.  Knight Readers sparks participation by providing incentives to students.  The sponsor is Mrs. Cindy Farley.
