Welcome to Jackson Elementary School.  

We appreciate your interest in our school and your visit to our website.  Our school serves over 200 kinder through fifth grade students.  As the principal at Jackson, my goals are to continue to improve student learning by maintaining high expectations of every student and by developing personal responsibility in each child for his/her own learning and education.

We are dedicated in supporting our students with their academic learning and character.  Leadership skills are provided through LCU students serving as mentors for our 4th and 5th graders.  In addition, the Positive Behavior Support is implemented school-wide to focus on building character and motivation.
Besides working toward fostering a love for learning and critical thinking, our purpose is nurturing citizens that accept and respect rules and take pride in their surroundings. Our students are always reminded to be prompt and prepared, be respectful, be dependable/trustworthy, have an “I can attitude,” and come eager to learn because we believe these core school-wide expectations will lead us all to success!
