I am a native of Sierra Vista, Arizona. After serving in the military I came to Lubbock Christian and received a degree in Secondary Education in 1979. I received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in 1993 from TTU, along with my administrative certification. I taught secondary social studies for fourteen years prior to being the principal of Project Intercept for seven years. I have been the principal of Parsons Elementary for the past seven years and have loved each and every year. I have been married for thirty years and have three beautiful children. My wife teaches at Rush Elementary, my daughter Jennifer teaches at Coronado, my daughter Heather is a senior at LCU and my son Cameron is a sixth grader at MacKenzie Middle School.

Hi! I am Crystal Boles the Instructional Specialist/ Assistant Principal at Parsons Elementary. This is my second year here and I could not be more excited to be back. Willis
Welcome Pirates! My name is JoAnna Willis, and I am the new counselor at Parsons! I will be at Parsons on Mondays and Wednesdays, and will be at Maedgen on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays, I will float between the two campuses from one week to the next. This is my 6th year as a school counselor. Before that, I taught in social adjustment classrooms in Lubbock, Lubbock Cooper, Dallas, and San Antonio ISDs. I have two children, a daughter who is 23 and a son who is 20, both in college. My husband is the printer at First United Methodist Church Lubbock. We have 2 dogs, both shepherd mixes, and a calico cat. I am looking forward to meeting all the Pirate crew!

I attended Texas Tech University, where I
received my Bachelor and Masters degrees. I have been with LISD for
nearly seven years. I taught second grade for four years, content mastery
for a year and half, and have been a diagnostician for one year. I have
been married for three years and have two year old daughter with one on
the way.

Mary is the secretary at Parsons. She loves to
meet all the new students who come into our school. She also enjoys
getting to know the parents who come to visit their children.

| Mrs. Ashley
Linda Ashley is a widow with two grown
children. She was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Dallas, Texas at
age five. She graduated from Highland Park High School, then attended
Texas Tech. She married after my second year of college. She has a 31
year old son who is a lawyer in Austin and just married in April. Her 22
year old daughter just moved to Reno, NV last week to pursue a career
working in the hotel management field. Her hobbies are playing volleyball
,country dancing, and enjoying all kinds of music. She worked for a
doctor for ten years, then nine years for Caldwell Productions and the
Cactus Theater and now at Parsons.
