Parsons is a great place to work with a team. We are all striving toward the same goal-- a healthy nurturing environment to ensure the academic growth and success of our students and the support and camaraderie of staff. I love working with children and I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes. I have formed some lasting friendships with staff members. Smith My name is Denise Smith. This will be my third year at Parsons Elementary and my 15th year working as a Speech Therapist. I love working at Parsons and being a part of the educational staff working together for all students success. I look forward to the 2007-08 school year.

Mrs. Rauls tsheppard@lubbockisd.org crauls@lubbockisd.org My name is Tony Sheppard. I work one on one with Special Education students. I have been at Parsons Elementary School for five years. I really enjoy my job. Carma Rauls is in her first year with Lubbock ISD. She is quickly becoming our inclusion specialist. Carma enjoys spending her spare time with her Husband and son Steven.

Ms. Newman, Ms. Dulin, Ms. Licon, and Ms. Turner pnewman@lubbockisd.org sdulin@lubbockisd.org llicon@lubbockisd.org dturner@lubbockisd.org Paula Newman is in her 16th year of teaching. A graduate of Texas Tech University and Texas Womans’ University she is enjoying her first year with the Lubbock ISD. Ms. Newman taught for 14 years in the Irving ISD and 1 year overseas with DODEA. She enjoys spending free time with her family including first grader Ben, Lucky Cookie and Evie Jane . Sara Dulin is in her second year with the Parsons SA Team. She received her certification in Art Education this summer. Ms. Dulin enjoys indulging her kitty Malachi, and volunteering in the Lubbock Community on a number of projects in her spare moments. She is our SA documentation wizard. Deloris Turner has worked for Lubbock ISD for several years. Having worked as a therapeutic house parent for the Lubbock Childrens Home, she adds a plethora of experience to our SA team. Ms. Turner is always ready to do whatever it takes to bring out the best in all students.
