My name is Stacey Hensley. I am blessed to be
the Reading First coach here at Parsons Elementary. I work with
Kindergarten through 3rd grade students and teachers. I love what I do!
I am starting my 14th year in education. I taught 3rd and 4th grade here at
Parsons my first 7 years. Then, my family and I moved to Kansas where I
taught 4th and 2nd grade. I am starting my 3rd year back at Parsons and
it is my teaching home. I have seen many of my former students who are in
high school and college now! My husband, Shawn, is a teacher and coach at
Coronado High School! Go MUSTANGS! I have 2 boys--Caden, who is in 1st
Grade at Parsons this year, and Rhett, who is 4 years old. I am excited for
this school year to start! As a staff we set many goals last year and
worked really hard to achieve those goals. This year our expectations are
even higher and I have no doubt that the teachers and students at Parsons
will meet those challenges! If you have any questions about our reading
