The Pre-K Tuition Program will again be offered at Centennial Elementary, Honey Elementary, Murfee Elementary, Smith Elementary, Waters Elementary, Whiteside Elementary and Roscoe Wilson Elementary for the 2008-2009 school year.  This program is supported by tuition.

The items listed below will give you information about the new program:

• Child must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2008.
• (Please bring birth certificate for proof of age.)
• Classes will have not more than twenty students.
• Classes will have a certified teacher and a teaching assistant.
• Children must fit the profile of a regular education student.  Special Education students are served in the district through the appropriate placement.
• The program will be full-day beginning at 7:45 AM and ending at 3:00 PM.
• Breakfast and lunch will be available at an additional cost.
• No transportation will be provided.
• Applications will be accepted online January 28 – February 6, 2008 and at Centennial Elementary, Honey Elementary, Murfee Elementary, Smith Elementary, Waters Elementary, Whiteside Elementary and Roscoe Wilson Elementary.  A random selection process will occur on February 11, 2008.  Parents will be notified by February 16, 2008. 
• After notification of acceptance, the parent will register the child and pay the $100.00 non-refundable registration fee that will be applicable to the first month’s tuition.
• Monthly tuition is $380.00 per month for 10 months.
• In order to maintain the child’s placement in the program, prompt tuition payment is required. (Coupon/payment books will be provided)
• Extended childcare will be available from 3:00 - 6:00 PM from the organization handling the after-school care on each campus.  This will be an additional cost.
