 The Texan Band

The Wilson "Texan" Band has had a rich tradition of supporting Smylie C. Wilson Middle School for many years.  The Band consists of the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Beginning Band.  The Bands at Wilson Middle School have performed at many locations across Texas and received Sweepstakes ratings.  Another great tradition of the Band is all of the socials and events that the students get to participate in on a monthly basis.  Students enjoy a family atmosphere that builds relationships of trust and friendships that endure for many years to come.
