My philosophy as an educator can be summarized in this statement by Antoine de Saint-Exupery: "If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea." My goal is to inspire my students to become life-long learners; teachers to themselves. I myself have a hunger and passion for learning history, and pretty much anything else.  It is this spirit that I hope to instill in each and every student of mine by year's end..
