I would like to introduce myself.  My name is April Benavidez, and I serve as the Parent Liaison for the campus. As many of you know, I have been here and have helped many families in many ways. Some of you that have not met me may be asking what the Parent Liaison does. 

I consult with school personnel, administration and teachers to establish and maintain parent activities which support academic achievement at home as well as school.  I also facilitate communication among parents, teachers, administrators, the school staff, and the community.

To put it in a nut shell, I try to get parents involved in their children’s education. Whether it is by working with volunteers, scheduling meetings with teachers or making home visits, I love what I do and look forward to working with you.

When you are in the school, stop by my office for a visit.
