TAKS/TAAS Acceleration
(EXIT Level only)
All classes based on sufficient enrollment.

Location:
Estacado High School, (1:00-4:00 p.m.)*
Irons Middle School, (6:00-9:00 p.m.)

* Accommodations will be made for students attending summer school

Registration:
Pre-registration with high school counselors.
Current 11th & 12th grade students

Time Frame for Classes:
June 30 - July 14, 2008 ( July 4th is a holiday)

Class Schedules:
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and/or 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Note: Accommodations are made for summer school students who will attend the afternoon acceleration program.

Program Content:
Strategies are provided to help students improve skills in reading, writing, math, science, social studies and test-taking techniques.

Transportation:
None provided

Official TAKS/TAAS Test Dates:

TAAS Exit Level tests will be taken at Matthews Learning Center on the following dates: Writing - July 15; Math - July 16; Reading - July 17
TAKS Exit Level tests will be taken at the student’s home high school on the following dates: (Out-of-school students should register with Tammy Shepherd at 766-1310.) English/Language Arts - July 15; Math - July 16; Science - July 17; Social Studies - July 18

Students must have photo ID and bring #2 pencils.
