Destination Imagination

Tubbs students can compete in the Destination Imagination competition on teams coached by the staff and parents.
The Destination Imagination teams compete against other teams from within the district and the region at a competition held every Spring.

Spanish Celebrations

Kindergarten through third grade learns Spanish with songs, poems, skits, games, and oral communication. Grades four through six learn to read and write Spanish with a strong emphasis on oral communication. Our mission is to provide students foreign language opportunities to develop their oral proficiency to the maximum extent appropriate for their levels.

Music Programs

Music is offered for grades Kindergarten through sixth grades. Music is taught based on the Kodaly approach and also incorporates many Orff instruments. Sixth grade students are given the opportunity of learning a stringed instrument as well.
