TrackStar organizes and annotates Web sites.

A track is a collection of annotated links to Web sites on a particular topic. Each link has a title, a URL, and can have an annotation (directions, questions, or tasks for your students). Web-supported lessons can also be created. The list of links functions as a table of contents that remains visible throughout the lesson. This function allows the student to move through resource sites by staying “on track” and well connected to the lesson.

RubiStar is a free tool that helps teachers create quality rubrics. It includes design suggestions, or allows you to choose from pre-made ones. RubiStar allows for online creation, editing, and storing of rubrics. Rubrics, prepared by teachers, are also available for viewing.

Using the NoteStar NoteCards tool, students can take notes from online sources as they browse the Internet. Source information (i.e. title, url, etc.) is automatically captured in order to assist in citation of work.
