My Middle Child

Caci’s Literacy

     Caci will be an eighth grader at Irons Middle School this year.  Her favorite subject has always been math, but she really enjoyed her reading class last year with Ms. McMinn-Inglesias. 

 

     One o!f my favorite literacy memories was Hastings’ storytimes which I conducted.  We were lucky to have Clifford attend her fifth birthday party.   Caci began her school career in Canyon, but spent her first year in Lubbock schools during the sixth grade at Whiteside Elementary.

 

 

     I am extremely proud of all she has accomplished this year.  She is involved in sports, playing volleyball, basketball and track for Irons, as well as softball on the Shockers 14U.  In addition, she was invited to play in tournaments for both Coronado and the Black Widows.  Not only has she excelled at softball, she placed second in the shot put in the city track meet.  She is a tough competitor with a great competitive attitude.
