The AMS Student Council is very active on campus and in the community. The purpose of STUCO (Student Council) is to develop leadership qualities, promote a positive image of Alderson Middle School, and to act as mediator between students and school administration, through the execution of approved activities for the student body.
STUCO organizes the following activities each year: U Can Share Food Drive, the United Way Faculty v. Student Volleyball Game, Fall Dance, Holiday Grams, Teen Angels, Spring Dance, Faculty v. Student Basketball Game, Homecoming Lunches, the Joanne McDaniel Talent Show, and many other events.
