Welcome to the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center website!

We are a Lubbock ISD campus that offers classes for the students of each of our district’s four high schools.  If you live in our area and are looking for the best education possible, the Byron Martin ATC is the place for you!  We are focused on giving each of our students access to a truly complete education, one focused both on who he or she is and on who he or she will become, after leaving the Byron Martin Center.

Our exciting list of programs covers a wide array of interests, as you will see here.  The power of our programs, though, is in our teachers, who are truly experts in their fields.  They all provide instruction that is balanced with a combination of abundant hands-on time and instruction that is meaningful, real-world, and connected.

For Lubbock’s youth, the ATC is a priceless opportunity, an opportunity both for now and for the future.  A full 50% of our courses offer weighted GPA credit, 21% offer trade certifications, and 54% offer college credit, either through Tech-Prep or through dual credit.  Our programs truly enhance their preparation for the world they will enter after high school.
