MOS tests are offered to students by recommendation of their teachers. Tests offered are Office 2000/XP in Word, Access, Excel & PowerPoint. Appointments for testing can be made by calling 766-1919.. The teacher recommending students must be certified in the office application that his/her students are testing in. Students must score a minimum score of 90% on their skills test to take the MOS certification tests. Certificates will be mailed to students from Certiport within two weeks. LISD will pay for the first administration of the test of each application (Word, Access, Excel or PowerPoint). If the student is not successful and wants to retest, the student will have to pay an administration fee of $50.00.
