I am Lisa
Dudding, a technology instructor for Lubbock ISD. I have 26 years experience
as a Business Education and Technology teacher and six years experience on
the college level as an adjunct teacher at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma. I currently teach Business Computer Information Systems
I, Web Mastering and Business Image Management and Multimedia at Coronado
High School. I grew up east of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and moved to Lubbock, Texas,
in 1994. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in the Lubbock Independent
School District and teaching high school students how to deal with today's
diverse and changing world of technology.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University and my
Master's degree from Northwestern State University. My career certifications
include MOS certification (Microsoft Office Specialist) in Word, Excel,
Access & PowerPoint. I have also taught many staff development courses to
other teachers in the Lubbock area, and have written technology training
courses for the LISD teachers. I have been teaching the BCIS I online course
for four years in the Lubbock Independent School District.
I love teaching technology courses because computers have a large impact on
all of us. It's not hard to understand why the knowledge and skills learned
in this course are so important. Technology skills are practical and helpful
for most aspects of our daily life.
I have two children, Kale, who is 16 years old and Lauren, who is 14 years
old. They both are very active in sports and keep me running back and forth
from the gymnasium to the baseball field. Besides sports, our favorite time
spent together is going to the lake and fishing.
I am glad you have chosen to take BCIS, BIMM, BCIS Online, or Web Mastering, and I hope that
you will enjoy the course. After completing this course, I hope you
will see the significance of having good computer skills. I look forward to
working with each and everyone of you! |
