The Junior Varsity Strings (named The Coronado Concert Strings)
Did not participate in UIL
Performed in the Irons Music Festival:  Superior Rating
 

Coronado's Symphonic Orchestra scored straight ones in both concert and sight-reading earning a Sweepstakes Award.  This marks the 39th consecutive year that Coronado High School has received a Sweepstakes in UIL Orchestra competition.

Also, the Symphonic Strings performed in the Lone Star Showcase of Music in Dallas, Texas.  The orchestra also scored straight ones and was awarded a Superior rating for the festival at the awards ceremony on stage at Six Flags theme park in Arlington.  Congratulations CHS Orchestra!
