Shattered Dreams
The Shattered Dreams program has been presented at Coronado in the past and throughout the state. The message conveyed has proven to be a very effective way to help young people make wise decisions regarding the mixture of "alcohol and gasoline." The planning has been an ongoing process throughout the year. If it helps one person make good choices about driving while under the influence of alcohol, this program will have been worth all the time, energy, and expense put into it by all the volunteers |

- According to NHTSA in 2004, 16,694 were killed in alcohol related crashes an average of one almost every 30 minutes.
- Thirty-nine percent of the 42,636 total traffic fatalities in the state of Texas are as follows.
