Our engineering program allows students to learn to use and adapt the engineering process. Accompanied with local college  students learn a variety of skills which are available to them for their college experience. Estacado High School is the ONLY local school to provide this type of college preparatory engineering and architecture program. Our curriculum is project based which allows for a more hands-on experience with realistic problem solving on the engineering and architecture level. We also allow our students to receive training in the following areas:

• Technology in the field

• Project Management

• Engineering & Architecture Applications and Professionalism

An advisory board made up of practicing engineers and architects, engineering and architecture faculty, and other Texas Tech University along with Lubbock Independent School District faculty steer the program. Students in the program are provided with:

• Texas Tech University mentors

• Hands on experiences

• Participation in a variety of competitions

• Field trips

• Excursions to major engineering and architecture facilities and events
