West Texas BEST-October 20th and 21st at Estacado Boosting Engineering, Science & Technology (BEST) is a robotics competition that allows students to apply their math and science skills to the field of engineering. TAMES-Regional Qualifier: February 2007 at TTU  State: April 2007 at Lockheed Martin Fort Worth, TX Texas Alliance of Minorities of Engineering & Science (TAMES) is a series of tests that allow students to challenge all skills that apply to their future in engineering. FIRST Robotics-January 2007 For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology (FIRST) is the largest Robotics competition in the world. Over 20 countries and thousands of high school students participate each year.
