• Turn television to cable channel 12.

• Principal is aware of possible severe weather.

• Monitor weather radio.

CODE YELLOW ALERT

• Turn television to cable channel 12.

• Principal is aware of possible severe weather.

• Monitor weather radio.

• Principal will prepare for tornado drill.

• Principal announces over P.A. that a code yellow is in place and that he/she will keep the faculty and students informed of any impending severe weather.

• Principal may receive special instructions.

CODE RED ALERT

• Turn television to cable channel 12.

• Monitor weather radio.

• Principal announces over P.A. that a code red in in place and announces a tornado drill.

• Lock all windows and doors to classroom.  Remain locked until notified.  Do not open the door to anyone.
• Principal will announce when it is safe to unlock your door.
• Personal threat to building.
