The National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) recognizes students who have shown outstanding ability in art and promotes art in the school and community.  Students who have completed at least one semester of art at Hutchinson and maintained an overall 3.2 grade point average are eligible.

Representatives from the Lubbock arts community participated in the first NJAHS induction at Hutchinson Middle School in January 2007.
