Each student should
be helped to reach their highest potential for intellectual, emotional and
physical growth. To achieve this, home and school must work together by
recognizing and agreeing upon the responsibilities of each party in the
learning process.
Student
Responsibilities:
Students will show respect and cooperate with all adults at school.
Students will
come to class on time, prepared to work.
Students will
complete assignments to the best of their
ability.
Students will
respect the rights of others to learn without
disruption.
Students will
show respect for people and property by not
using profanity, stealing or vandalizing.
Teacher
Responsibilities:
Teachers will provide instruction in a motivating and encouraging manner.
Teachers will
provide a safe and positive atmosphere for
learning.
Teachers will
explain all assignments so students have a
clear understanding.
Teachers will
supply clear evaluations of student progress
to students and parents.
Parent
Responsibilities:
Parents will provide a caring environment, including adequate food and rest,
so their child is ready to learn.
Parents will
provide a time and place for quiet study and
reading at home.
Parents will
help their child in any way possible to meet
his/her responsibilities.
Parents will
call the school when their child is absent.
