The student
will:
-Get Weekly
Citizenship Record signed every night.
-Show all
notes and school correspondence to parents.
- Place
Citizenship Record back in Daily Folder.
- Follow
morning procedures for turning in Citizenship record.
-Keep
Citizenship Record neat and clean.
- Be
responsible for keeping track of Daily Folder at all times.
- Purchase
replacement Daily Folder if original is lost or damaged. |
The
teacher/staff will:
- Teach
students the expectations and procedures for the Citizenship
Record and Daily Folders. Practice and reteach behaviors as
necessary.
- Have Weekly
Citizenship Record ready each Monday morning.
- Record
important information for parents on the Citizenship Record
weekly. (Major assignments, upcoming events, AR points, etc.).
-Record any
and all discipline/responsibility infractions consistently.
- Record and
monitor each student’s progression through the Iles discipline
steps on the Citizenship Record.
- Check
Citizenship Records daily for parent signatures and comments.
- Respond to
parent’s notes written on citizenship record or placed in folder.

The parent(s)
will:
-Review and
sign child’s Weekly Citizenship Record in the appropriate place
each night.
-Read all
information recorded on Citizenship Record or placed in folder.
- Respond
appropriately to teacher notes written on Citizenship Record or
placed in folder.
-Encourage
child to keep Weekly Citizenship Record in his/her Daily Folder.
-Replace lost
or damaged Daily Folder if necessary.
NOTE:
Students WILL receive a “write-up” on their Citizenship Record if
they fail to have a parent or guardian sign the Citizenship Record
each day.
It is the
responsibility of the student to make sure their Citizenship
Record is signed and papers/notes are reviewed on a daily basis. |
