Mackenzie is proud to offer four singing opportunities for students: the Mackenzie Girls’ Concert Choir, Boys Concert Choir, the 6th grade Raider Chorus and the 7th/8th grade Raider Chorus.

Robin Dent is in her twelfth year as choral director at Mackenzie Middle School. Prior to Mackenzie Middle School, Mrs. Dent taught in the Richardson and Abilene Independent School Districts, and served as Assistant Choral Director at Coronado High School in Lubbock. Choirs under her direction have established a reputation of excellence winning Sweepstakes awards at U.I.L. Concert and Sight-reading Contests as well as “Best in Class” and “Outstanding Overall Choir” at invitational festivals. In addition, The Mackenzie Girls’ Concert Choir performed at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas..
