What You Will Need To Fill Out Your 2007 - 2008

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Please Complete As Soon As Possible After January 1, 2007

You will need records of income earned in the year prior to when you will start school. You will need 2006 records, and income information for yourself and your parent’s for the 2007 - 2008 Academic year.  

You will need the following information from 2006 only:

·    Parent(s) Date of Birth

·    Month and year your parent(s) were Married, divorced, or widowed.

·    Your Social Security card and driver's license 

·    W-2 Forms or other records of income earned

·    You (and your spouse's, if you are married) Federal Income Tax Return

·    Your parent's Federal Income Tax Return

·    Records of other untaxed income received such as welfare benefits, social security benefits, TANF, veteran's benefits, or military or clergy allowances

·    Current bank statements and records of stocks, bonds, and other investments

·    Business or farm records, if applicable

·    Your alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

·    If you received or paid child support during 2006, we will need a print out from the Attorney General for support received, or paid for each child in 2006 only.

·    If you received social security benefits during 2006, we will need a copy of the ssa 1099 for benefits received for each person in your household in 2006 only.

NOTE TO STUDENT: 

You Will Be Considered A Dependent Student, And You Will Need Your Parents 2006 Tax And Income Information Unless You Are: 

24 Years Old, Married, or Have A Child Who Receives 50% Or More Of Their Support Directly From You.
