What is FCCLA?

 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. (FCCLA)

FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in family and consumer sciences education in public and private school through grade 12.

What is the Mission of FCCLA?

To promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through--
  • character development
  • creative and critical thinking
  • interpersonal communication
  • practical knowledge and
  • vocational preparation

Who can Join FCCLA?

  
Any student, who is taking or has taken a Family and Consumer Sciences course is eligible to join.

What Do I Do as a memeber?

    Be actively involved by participating!

 FCCLA has many amazing programs like STAR Events.

 If you take part in STAR Events, you may earn awards and recognition by competing at many levels. 

 Attend regional, and State meetings and you will receive great ideas to improve yourself, meet new friends, and simply to have an AWESOME time.
