“Behind every successful student is an informed
parent”
Parents:
Lubbock ISD is pleased to announce that LISD parents and guardians can now monitor your child’s grades over the Internet. This system can also be used by students who want to monitor their own grades. We have taken every precaution to provide a secure and easy-to-use system.
LISD teachers use the electronic gradebook system to record each assignment and grade given to your student.
In order to access the system, you must have a valid e-mail address and several pieces of information about your student so that we can verify your identity.
Step 1…Create your account:
· Go to www.LubbockISD.org
· Click on Parents/Students
· Click on Gradebook
· Click on New Account
· Follow the instructions on the screen
The system will send you an e-mail message in order to verify your e-mail address. If you have trouble creating that account, please e-mail your questions to: GradebookSupport@LubbockISD.org.
Step 2…Add students to your account:
· Login to the Gradebook (https://gradebook.LubbockISD.org)
· Click on Add Student
· Follow the instructions on the screen…
o Student ID is a 9-digit number that can be found on your student’s report card
o Secret ID is the student’s social security number…without dashes
o Name is the student’s legal name
If you have trouble adding a student to your account, please contact the office at your student’s school.
Once you have your account set up, your student(s) will automatically appear each time you login to the system. To access the assignments and grades, click on the student name to see the averages in each course. Click on the average to see the detailed assignments and grades. If you have questions about any assignment or grade, please contact the appropriate teacher.

If any student demographic or contact information is incorrect, inaccuracies should be corrected through the student’s campus administrative or counseling staff.
Teachers are encouraged to post assignment scores within five (5) school days of the assignment due date. Some projects and assignments may take longer to complete and grade and may therefore not be updated as quickly as other assignments. In most cases, when this is likely, teachers are encouraged to make a note of such variances in the assignment description. Although many assignment scores will be updated more frequently, the five school day standard will allow Lubbock ISD teachers the time needed in most cases.
