Students at O.L. Slaton are introduced to an outstanding Fine Arts program. Magnet opportunities include Theatre Arts, Dance, Orchestra, and Gymnastics.  Theatre Arts introduces history, playwriting, stage craft, and production techniques as well as acting, scene design, costumes and make-up.  They develop their own unique abilities and talents while learning poise, movement, and voice control through a variety  of  dramatic experiences that draw upon the imagination.  Exceptional choir, band, orchestra, and art classes also offer distinctive opportunities for students interested in Fine Arts.

Gymnastics and Dance are offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.  In Dance students learn ballet, jazz, tap, and modern as well as wellness and nutrition.  Gymnastics focuses on developing floor routines and skills using each apparatus.
