classified positions require: (1) A high School diploma or G.E.D
and 48 college credit hours or an Associates Degree; (2) At least one year
experience in a business office or school settings is a plus; (3) Excellent
oral and written communication skills; (4) Strong interpersonal skills and
the ability to perform several task simultaneously; In
Addition Secretarial and Clerical positions require: (5) At least 1
year in a business or school setting (6) Light bookkeeping and financial
skills; (7) Computer skills required; (8) Typing ability must meet or
exceed - Clerks 35 w.p.m. and Secretaries 45 w.p.m.

COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS
| Youth Coordinator, Communities In Schools |
Duties include case management for students at-risk
and the coordination of community resources on the campus to meet
the students' needs. This position requires a bachelor's
degree in social work, psychology, sociology, education or related
field and three years experience with student services and
case management. The position is open until filled.

SUBSTITUTES 2007-2008 SCHOOL
YEAR
Former substitutes, former LISD teachers and/or former/current
teacher applicants may complete substitute paperwork in the personnel
office. No interview is needed.
New substitute applicants may request to schedule an interview
beginning August 13, 2007. Substitute interviews will begin August 20,
2007.
Teachers, Elementary & Secondary: Minimum
requirements: 60 + semester college hours.
Regular Substitutes - $50.00 per full day worked
Bachelor Degree or above - $60.00 per full day worked
Certified Teacher - $65.00 per full day worked
Nurses: Current RN License - $100.00 per full day
worked
Paraprofessional: Secretaries, Clerks, Aides -
$47.00 per full day worked
