The National Junior Honor Society is an active organization which celebrates the success of students both academically and through volunteerism.

We are active in the areas of peer tutoring, the March of  Dimes campaign, promoting reading, and having fun!

Students who are members of NJHS must maintain an honor roll average and must have 3 hours of school service and 3 hours of community service..

The Smylie Wilson chapter of the National Junior Honor Society consists of select seventh and eighth graders who are leaders in our school, who display strong character, who are good citizens in and out of the classroom, who service our school and community, and who meet high academic standards.
