Amongst the vast sea of technology tools available to teachers the following list represents some of those that the Instructional Technology Department recommends strongly (this list will be added to periodically):

Filamentality is a fill-in-the-blank interactive Web site that guides you through turning Web resources into Hotlists, Scrapbooks, Hunts, Samplers, or WebQuests.

HyperStudio

Visit here to find HyperStudio resources, examples, downloadable updates, demo version of the program, and general technical support.

Inspiration

Inspiration is a powerful visual learning tool that inspires students to reorganize their thinking. At this site you will find classroom ideas, download demos, technical support, and classroom uses for Inspiration. Use it to teach and make graphic organizers, conduct brainstorming activities, teach outlining, and much more.

Profiler

A tool for self-assessment of technology related skills. Before using the tool you must create an account at the site. There is no charge for the service or the account, however, it is recommended that you contact Bryce Johnston in the Technology Department to get the district's ID #.
