The facility is owned and operated by the Lubbock ISD (Independent School District).   

The pool facility was opened in 1998.  

This is an indoor facility. The pool is 50m by 8 lanes or 25y by 16 lanes, 4½f minimum depth.

The pool includes a diving well. 

Swim admission is not available to the general public.
