Estacado English teacher, James Villanueva, has been selected to be the featured author for the Texas Speech Communication Association Convention in Dallas on October 7th. The Texas Speech Communication Association is a professional, academic association committed to excellence in communication instruction, student performance, research, scholarly accomplishments, professional service and political awareness. The association is the largest state professional communication association in the nation. Villanueva is on the board for the Wild Lark Book Funds, a registered non-profit with the mission of making publishing accessible for historically underrepresented voices.Photo by Victor Mosqueda
