Carolyn Thompson-Conwright has been the principal of Matthews Academy since 2010. She was recently inducted into the Texas Tech Basketball Ring of Honor for her years as a successful player in the '80s. She was inspired to pursue a leadership role in Lubbock ISD to make a positive difference in the lives of students and in the community.
