I grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and my husband said he missed the dirt! We moved to Lubbock as fast as we could, and I've made Lubbock my home. Wayne and I have an amazing daughter, Elizabeth. I have my undergraduate degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman's University and a Master's of Education from Texas Tech University. Teaching in the classroom was a career change for me, but teaching is something I've always done. All my previous jobs have included teaching all ages from elementary to mature adults. My previous teaching in a variety of venues is what has prepared me for my time as a classroom teacher. I look forward to all our learning adventures.
