Specialty Requirements for 1st - 5th Grade Students

3.2 GPA
Behavior of "S" or higher 
Good Attendance Record with Few Tardies
Teacher and Principal Recommendation
Passed All Portions of most recent STAAR Tests (applicable for 3rd-5th grades)

Magnet/Specialty Application information is available in the front office. 

You may submit your student's Specialty Application between January 8th and March 4th of each school year.  Please call 219-7400 for more information on the appropriate process and timeline.
