The Lubbock ISD Online Learning Program offers a variety of online courses for in-district students as well as out-of-district students. The Online Learning Program can meet different student needs.
With the use of today's technology and the Edgenuity system, students are provided with opportunities to take online courses outside of normal classroom schedules. The Online Learning Program offers students a quality alternative to the traditional classroom. All online instructional programs meet TEKS standards and may be used in a variety of applications which can open up a student's class schedule to allow for advanced placement and elective courses. Providing virtual options to students enables them to enroll in a wide variety of classes and complete coursework on a schedule that works for them. Students are able to complete all coursework online, but the final exam must be proctored. A schedule of proctor availability will be regularly updated on the webpage.
NOTE: Currently, Online Advancement courses through Edgenuity are NOT NCAA-approved.
