LEARN Inc. is a non-profit educational organization established as a legal entity in July of 1966 for the sole purpose of aiding financially deprived students to obtain funds to pursue postsecondary education and or training.
In November of 1969, LEARN Inc. received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to fund the Educational Talent Search program to serve Lubbock and the South Plains area. The program assist students with secondary school completion and postsecondary enrollment.
In November of 1991, LEARN Inc. added its second TRiO Program, Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), to serve the educational needs of disadvantaged adults nineteen and older in the region. LEARN EOC assists adults with applying for secondary (GED) and postsecondary (college) education.

***FILING FOR THE FAFSA:
Several 4-year universities have advanced their financial aid deadline due to the government changing the FAFSA opening date to October 1st, so LEARN will be working with parents and seniors to file the FAFSA here at Lubbock High during school hours. FAFSA days at LHS are on the following dates: October 6th and October 7th. Students and Parents may sign up for one of these FAFSA appointments by scanning the QR code above.
