It is the employee’s individual responsibility to correctly enter their leave time in the TEAMS Employee Service Center.
Lubbock ISD will adhere to the following procedures when refunding a leave dock that was entered in error:
- If the employee/secretary entered the sick leave code incorrectly or did not enter an absence and the error resulted in a dock, Lubbock ISD will refund the dock on the employee’s next scheduled paycheck.
- If the employee is docked for weekly plugs due to the employee not notifying the person that handles the payroll at each campus, Lubbock ISD will refund the dock on the employee’s next scheduled paycheck.
- If the employee is docked due to the Payroll Department creating a dock, the dock will be refunded immediately.
Prior to refunding any docks, the Payroll Department will need written verification and approval from the Campus Supervisor/Principal to refund the leave dock. Without this approval, the dock will not be refunded.
All refunds will need to be done in the current school year that the dock occurred.
