The Distribution Center is charged with the following responsibilities:
- Receiving all items that have been ordered by a purchase orderto assure items received match the items on the purchase order, quantities are correct, and there is no visible damage
- Storing and distributing warehouse inventoryitems
- Delivering goods to the location as requested by the end user
- Picking up, delivering, and storing records
- Picking up, delivering, and storing used surplus
