• Title I, Part D

    Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth Who Are Neglected, Delinquent, or At Risk provides supplemental funding to state and LEAs to improve the educational service to children in facilities for the neglected or delinquent so that these students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills contained in the state content standards in order to meet the same student performance standards that all children in the state are expected to meet. Title I, Part D has a primary focus of facilitating the transition and academic needs of students from correctional programs to further education or employment.
