As a young girl, I loved to play "school" with my sister. I always told her, "Next time, you can be the teacher." However, the next time we played school, I was still the teacher! I studied Religion and Psychology in college at Oklahoma Baptist University, and I received my Texas Teacher Certification at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. My son, Connor Langford, lives with his wife Grace in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a mechanical engineer and loves to design things! My daughter, Allie Langford, graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is a landman at Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Paige Langford, my youngest daughter, is a student at Texas A&M, and she is studying Animal Science. I am married to Neill Carter, a nurse practitioner, and we enjoy traveling to the mountains and oceans, hiking, swimming, and reading. Teaching is my ministry, and God has blessed me abundantly during all of my years as a Waters Patriot. I absolutely and positively love teaching fifth graders, and I am looking forward to developing strong and healthy relationships with my students.
