Mission:

The mission of Lubbock ISD school nurses is to nurture, develop and inspire Every child, Every Day.

School Nurses will:

• Educate students with regard to health related subjects using age appropriate methods as well as developmentally appropriate self-management techniques for individual health conditions;
• Empower students and their families to make positive health choices by providing proven resources for health information and services;
• Expand opportunities for students through advocacy and evidence-based practice; and,
• Enrich the community through promotion of good health practices and involvement in community health events.
