Mr. Coughlon

Mr. Coughlon is entering his tenth year of service at Coronado High School, where he teaches Advanced Placement Language & Composition as well as Advanced Placement Seminar, which is a part of the College Board Advanced Placement Capstone diploma program. Mr. Coughlon graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and has undergone graduate work in Education at Shenandoah University as well as Lubbock Christian University. Mr. Coughlon has been contracted by Educational Testing Service to serve at the national scoring for both Advanced Placement Language & Composition and Advanced Placement Seminar.

Mr. Coughlon and his wife have three rapscallious youngsters, as well as two dogs. The family are avid Green Bay Packers fans, and all enjoy reading, travel, and the outdoors.

All classes are in room 204.
  • Mr. Coughlon is generally available for tutorials from 7:30am to 8:00am, and again from 4:00pm to 4:30pm. Tutorial sessions may also be arranged via email.
